As someone who has been involved in the anime and gaming community for many years, I have encountered my fair share of furries. And while I believe everyone has the right to express themselves in whichever way they choose, I can’t help but feel a strong dislike towards the furry fandom. Here’s why I hate furries:
Firstly, the idea of dressing up in animal costumes and pretending to be a different species is just absurd to me. It’s one thing to dress up for Halloween or cosplay at a convention, but furries take it to a whole other level. It almost feels like they are trying too hard to stand out and be different from the rest of society.
Furthermore, the sexualization of animals is extremely disturbing and uncomfortable. Many furries incorporate sexual elements into their costumes and role-play, which crosses a line for me. Animals are not meant to be objectified in such a way, and it just adds an unsettling aspect to the whole furry community.
Another reason for my dislike towards furries is the negative stereotypes associated with them. From being socially awkward or introverted individuals to having questionable hygiene habits, these stereotypes unfairly paint all furries in a negative light.
